The third part of Prefuse 73's 2015 triptych (if you haven't given "Forsyth Gardens" and "Rivington Nao Rio" a spin yet, then do so without further delay) isn't quite the lightless affair you might expect from its title, but in terms of oblique, glitchy strangeness, "Every Color Of Darkness" has more than enough to offer. Guillermo Scott Herren's creative juices must have been flowing in torrents when he conceived this trilogy. More power to his wellspring. Nic Brown
This is the album that introduced me to ambient music. The Disintegration Loops III is my personal favorite installment in the entirety of the project (although I consider The Disintegration Loops I-IV to be a single, albeit long album).
